Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
Overview
LucidCrawler is an AI readiness scanning tool. We are designed with privacy as a default and collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is stored, and your rights.
What Data We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication is handled via magic link (passwordless email). We store a session token to keep you signed in.
URLs You Submit
When you submit a URL for scanning, that URL is sent to our server to perform the analysis. For authenticated users, scan results are associated with your account so you can access your history.
Scan Results
Scan results (scores, issues, and metadata extracted from the scanned page) are stored in a database on our server. You can delete your scan history from your account settings at any time.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or payment details on our servers. We retain only a Stripe customer identifier to manage your subscription.
What We Do NOT Collect
- No browser fingerprinting
- No third-party analytics or behavioral tracking
- No advertising cookies or pixels
Data Storage & Retention
Account data and scan history are stored in a database hosted on our infrastructure. We do not replicate or export your data to third parties.
You may delete your scan history from account settings. If you wish to delete your account entirely, contact us at the email below and we will remove all associated data.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any data with third parties. LucidCrawler does not integrate with advertising networks, analytics platforms, or data brokers. The URLs you submit are used solely to perform the scan you requested and for nothing else.
